What began as a modest, family business enterprise between two brothers in 1952 in Tulare California, now has grown remarkably to the position of an international leader in its field exceeding the dreams of Eddie Ruiz, president of Ruiz Mexican Foods.

When Eddie Ruiz began manufacturing flour tortillas back then, he could not conceive of the success of their small venture.

In 1959, Eddie Ruiz decided to launch his own business and move to Southern California community of Covina.

Today, Ruiz Mexican Foods Inc. operates under “Ruiz Flour Tortillas” an Ontario based company, which has further expanded with the opening of a tortilla manufacturing facility in Riverside California.

This will further increase potential manufacturing capabilities of Ruiz Flour Tortillas serving the ever-increasing demand for flour tortillas.
